You need goals to achieve

People can carry on working forever and ultimately end up nowhere. Not having goals or any set milestones leads to confusion and despair. This makes goal setting all that more necessary. Even better yet, goals based on inspiration and what fulfils inner happiness result in truly defining success and helping in achieving it.
It is great thing to want success, but how many people out there really have it figured out? Most people realize too late in life that what they always wanted to achieve was right in front of them all along but were focused entirely in the opposite direction. Money does not end up being the key to happiness and can become the reason for depression and anxiety.
Recent cases of ‘successful’ people, who have ended up taking their own lives has opened up the discussion throughout the world of what achievement is and should be expected. What society has objectively defined as being the definition of success, is rather the key to unhappiness and unfulfillment. What matters most is that people can pursue things that make them happy and fulfil their internal calling. We all have a calling. It is built within us. Realizing it is what allows us to move forward in achieving our true mission.
Now, how is it that people can actually work towards setting goals, identifying the ones which actually matter in their lives and working towards achieving them? It may seem hard at first, but it is possible.
Focus on which priorities and achievements would result in the most happiness and fulfilment.
Go after those goals in life which have meaning and impact. Make them time bound and focused on being achieved in milestones and steps rather than being too long-term and beyond reach. Have dates which are short and foreseeable. Stay absorbed and put in all efforts to achieve those things which are important. Don’t waste time on aspects of life which do not play a role in making it better. Things such as luxurious upgrades, faster cars and bigger houses don’t make life worth life. A house is a home because of the people in it and not because of the size.
Put family, friends and peace of mind before anything else and setting realistic goals will not be as hard as it seems.
